  • Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account when you sign in.
  • Profile information: School name, graduation year, and Instagram handle (if provided).
  • Dress claims: Links to dresses you claim, along with associated metadata (image, name, price) fetched from retailer websites.
  • Event participation: Which events you join and your membership status.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the DressLocked service
  • Display your dress claims to other event members
  • Send email notifications about your events and dress claims
  • Prevent duplicate dress claims within events

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your information is visible to:

  • Event members: Your first name, school, and claimed dress are visible to other members of your event.
  • Event creators: The person who created the event can see members' names and schools.

We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Data is hosted in the United States and protected by Firebase's security infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Firebase: Authentication and data storage
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the Service is used. Firebase may use cookies or similar technologies to collect usage data. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw from events and remove your dress claims
